Greenhills Sanctuary IOM
We Believe in a Better World
Greenhills Sanctuary is a small non-profit charity (No1240) that is based in the North part of the Isle of Man.

We are a non-profit organisation dedicated to providing a loving forever-home to animals that would otherwise have nowhere to go. Our mission is to ensure that each animal receives the care they need and the respect they deserve. The beautiful green fields and facilities of our sanctuary are home to dogs, cats, horses, sheep, chickens, goats and pigs – all with unique personalities.
The sanctuary was founded by Caroline Cardona in 2018 to care for a variety of animals that needed extra love. The animals we house now were rescued from situations where they were unwanted or even abused, and where the alternatives would be euthanized or slaughter. Many of the animals have physical or psychological problems that require special attention and expertise.

Advocacy
We do not breed or otherwise financially benefit from the products of any of our animals, and instead focus our energy on meeting their needs. The sanctuary survives exclusively on donations. We are gratefully dependent on the kindness and generosity of those able to donate. All of the donations go towards food, veterinary costs, maintenance of living spaces, and meeting other miscellaneous needs of the animals.
